I first met Rosie when she did a talk about scent training and how it’s an interesting activity for you and your dog, it gets you dog working mentally, it’s not just about the physical exercise. I explained to Rosie my dog Bailey was a rescue dog and he was totally deaf and at times he’s displayed some behaviours that told me he was anxious. She said ‘no problem’ So off we went one Sunday morning to have a go. Before we arrived Rosie had set the room out, there were 6 dogs with there owners, we all had our own area/space. Rosie had placed Bailey and me near the fire door which was open, it led into a garden which was fenced off, Rosie said I’ve purposely put you and Bailey here so he can have some space if he needs it’ Rosie asked me how I communicated with Bailey, I showed Rosie some of the signs I used. We used our ‘where’ sign when I wanted him to find/sniff. Bailey loved it. I think on the first session he showed a little anxiety and started to bark so we just had a bit of time in the garden with his ball then we returned to the group. That was the one and only time Bailey needed a little bit of time away from the group. What I really liked was, you would be working with your dog and Rosie would just walk over and give a little bit of advise if you needed it or would say good work. Bailey loved the session he was absolutely shattered after the sessions. I feel my relationship with Bailey is a lot stronger. He went on to pass his bronze and silver award. He’s having a bit of a break at the moment as he has a new sister Poppy who is a rescue and she’s attending some training to help build her confidence. Thank you Rosie.

I have been coming to training with Rosie for a while with my miniature dachshund Poppy. We started with bronze and continued to gold with sniffer dog training and have now started with National Nosework Association with Rosie. Rosie is amazing she's very knowledgeable, understanding and friendly. I would recommend Rosie to anyone that is looking to do any training with there dog

I can't rate Rosie highly enough, we working with me and my stubborn dog Willow. We have managed to do the bronze, silver and gold sniffer training. Rosie is very knowledgeable on her field of training but can also work outside the box and adapt the training for your dog that is certainly not your norm. Working with both owner and dog to attain the best outcome for you. Highly recommend Rosie for training.

Attending Gold scent work training with Askan K9 Training, which we are really enjoying. Rosie is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get along with which feeds into the group. Hoping to do some training with my other dog with Askan K9 training even though they are an hour's drive away from us, we feel it's worth it! Would definitely recommend Askan K9 training.

Rosie is a brilliant instructor who has been the foundation to giving my puppy the best start he could wish for. Beginning with puppy training and then following along with scentwork, achieving bronze, silver and gold awards, Rosie has been so supportive throughout and it has been a pleasure to work with her and the rest of the Askan-K9 team. I hope there will be opportunities to take training further in the near future! Thanks again Rosie and the team!

Would highly recommend Rosie at Askan-K9 she has been exceptionally supportive and helpful with my reactive/nervous GSDxMali. Despite her dog reactivity Rosie welcomed us into group sniffer training and was so supportive it enabled Lola to complete all levels up to gold! Lola still has a way to go but she benefited from massively, building confidence and skill. We’ve just started UK treibball and signed our new rescue up to bronze sniffing. Rosie makes training fun, offers great realistic advice and has a reactive dog so speaks with personal experience. Cannot recommend Askan-K9 highly enough!

We have trained with Rosie for a long time , completing Bronze, Silver and Gold courses and trials with multiple dogs. Rosie is incredibly knowledgeable and explains things in an essay and methodical manner. Her set up allows reactivity dogs to also train in both a class and 121 environment. Rosie is both friendly and professional and the dogs love her. We highly recommend and can't wait to complete the courses with more of our dogs.

100% recommend. Rosie is an excellent instructor who made me and my dog feel totally at ease. I did the bronze and silver sniffer dog courses and it was all very relaxed whilst being very informative at the same time. Rosie is excellent with all the dogs. I have a Patterdale terrier who isn't the easiest dog and she benefitted so much from these two courses we did. I need to come back and complete the gold next!

Rosie is a fantastic trainer, very knowledgeable, patient and it is easy to understand her instruction. Our Border Collie has had lots of training over his 6 years with various different trainers & Rosie has been by far the best, she makes training enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely recommend.

Rosie is a great trainer, a real confidence giver, and very knowledgeable. We did all our uk sniffer dog levels with her and our exams and enjoyed every session, we even travelled 1.5 hours to go to each session! Highly recommended 😃

Rosie is a brilliant dog trainer . My dog and I have done the bronze, silver and gold UK sniffer dog courses and trials with her. Rosie makes the training really fun for you and your dog and will help you find the way to train that best suits your dog. The courses are really well set out and you learn lots to keep you busy in between classes. I can't recommend her enough!

Looking for a dog trainer? Rosie Fern.Askan-K9. I have or had a very reactive girl. Cross breed. She would not even entertain another dog. With the help and guidance of Rosie and Askan, callie has not only progressed she has excelled in sniffer completing through the levels with a group of doggy friends but is also competent at mantrailing. Absolute 5 star dog trainer, patient with dogs and their hoomans. Asus, a flat faced Pug has learned so much, initially in puppy class, then onto sniffer dog training, she still has scatty moments, but has learned to focus and settle down quickly. If you're looking for a dog trainer, look no further than Rosie at Askan K9.

I've been going to Rosie with my 2- year old Working Cocker Spaniel for approximately 10 months now. We completed our Silver and Gold UK Snifferdog Training with Rosie and then progressed to working through the National Nosework Association levels and about to start competing in the national trials. Rosie's approach to training is calm, constructive, and reassuring, she has a clear passion for training dogs with a positive and reward-based approach. I have attended both 1:1 and group classes; Rosie always gives her time equally and with tailored training tips to each owner. She is incredibly hard-working and driven to provide the best service to her clients (human and four-legged); my spaniel loves attending her sessions and I've been amazed with his progression. We would recommend Rosie 100%.

If your looking for a dog trainer then don't look any further, as Rosie is the best instructor you can get, if you have any issues with your dog you need to come and be trained here as you won't find any better, Rosie is very patient with the dogs and especially the dog handlers, I've started scent training with my GSD and he absolutely loves it, the lesson are really enjoyable and encouraging, I carnt fault it here. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rosie for what she's done with myself and Oscar x
