I have completed my bronze and silver scent detection with Melissa which has been so wonderful. I have a young labrador and it has been a great and calming activity for him. Melissa adapts techniques to every dog and isn’t afraid to challenge us both. I practice at home where my 5 year old son loves to get involved hiding the scents and asking my dog to “find it”. A wonderful thing to do with an excellent instructor. Thanks Melissa, can’t wait for the gold!

I have a very anxious dog but I like to do scent work with him to give him a job that he enjoys. During one of my training sessions, a motorbike in the distance spooked him and instead of letting me just pack up and go, Melissa came and engaged with me to help him. I was very grateful. We continued to complete the course and are now waiting for the next. Melissa always considers the dogs in her class for locations of classes and I'm very grateful for that. Personally I find Melissa a lovely person, very approachable for any queries and always helpful. I will continue to book on to her classes, Bailey and I enjoy them.

I was so pleased to find Melissa’s classes. I was struggling to find something that met Alberts needs because he is a bit fizzy and struggles to do anything calmly! He absolutely loves scent training and he certainly loves Melissa very much. 🥰 She is very patient and holistic in her approach as she trains in a way that suits your dog’s personality. She has a kind and gentle approach and her classes are fun and engaging. It has really helped me to help Albert to focus on something I can do with him at home. It has made a big difference to us both at home. We have completed the bronze and silver course and enjoy the scent workshops too. Thank you 🙏

Having recently moved into the area, I was looking to find a fun activity as a form of enrichment for my stressy rescue spaniel Winnie. We joined the bronze course and from the start, loved it. Working as part of a small group, Winnie took to it almost from the start and we went on to complete the bronze course. Melissa is patient , informative and above all- fun!!! We look forward to Joining the silver course.

My rescue working cocker spaniel Peanut absolutely adores Melissa and the courses she runs. Very informative and fun courses for both of us, so far we have completed both bronze and silver. We can't wait to complete gold next. Thank you for teaching me something to finally tire this spaniel out!

My Labrador Flori has now completed her Bronze and Silver courses with Melissa as our instructor. We have had so much fun and learnt so much and that’s down to Melissa’s excellent tutorage and patience. Melissa is very relaxed and thorough in her teaching and explains everything brilliantly. Flori and I are really looking forward to continuing our scent training with Melissa.

We recently competed our Bronze and Silver Scent Training with Melissa. It was such a good experience for me and my new pup. He thoroughly got into it and I was very proud of him. Melissa is a very good trainer. She is patient and kind and really encourages you when perhaps things aren’t quite going right at that particular time. She is so good with the dogs, they do respond well to her. We are looking forward to doing Gold soon and get more regular practice in as well.
