Bronze Online Tracking Trial

Congratulations on completing your Bronze level tracking online course!  

Please see below the information you need to know to carry out a Bronze Online Tracking Trial.... We look forward to seeing your videos, remember to have fun with it! 

IMPORTANT: You have 90 days from date of purchase to submit your trial via the online learning portal!

Requirements 
Handlers must lay 2 tracks with distance 45m, consisting of 3 legs x2 bends and 2 articles of KONG, 1 after the bend and 1 at the end of the track. 

Track one : Dog leg (x2 45 degree bends)
Track two : Open box (x2 90 degree bends)

Handler and dog teams should then let the track settle for 15minutes and then run the track in a maximum time of 5 minutes to find both articles.

If you can have at least 3 areas so you can give the dogs fresher ground for each track, 1 goes on area 1, 2 goes on are area 2 & 3 goes on area 3 and 4 goes back to area 1, then 5 goes to area 2, 6 to area 3 and so on. 
The dogs are training on their own owners scent at this level so shouldn’t cause a problem but any left food will cause distraction so if you can provide a fresh area per dog thats great.

Filming your trial tracks for assessment: 

• Film you laying both Trial Tracks 
• Film the Dog running both Trial Tracks 
• Log into the UKSD Learning Portal (details provided upon purchase) for further instructions on how to conduct the trial and how to submit your videos.
• We will assess your videos and send out your feedback and rosette if passed
