Learn everything you need to know to run your own UK Sniffer Dogs workshops, classes and trials at GOLD level.
Attendees should already hold their Silver qualification and either be paying the License Fee or be an active UK Sniffer Dogs member.
ONLINE COURSE
Course Content
This online course will give you the tools to expand on your knowledge and to most importantly QUALIFY you to take your clients and their training to the next level. Work through a variety of theory and practical videos at your own pace, with support of a dedicated Facebook group.
Topics include:
- 4 different search types
- 1 new scent to add to your dog's scent library
- Running trials
- How to run a Series 5 and 6 workshop
- 6 week class plans for Gold level
What you will receive:
- Online access to a theory and practical videos
- Access to a dedicated Facebook group for support
- Gold level trial templates
- A certificate and bound book with class plans on completion and passing of your assessment.

Your Dog
- Ideally your dog would have worked through our Silver level. If you do not have a dog at Silver level, that's not a problem but we do request that you contact us before booking.
- Please note, our instructor courses are aimed at you the instructor not your dog or your dog’s performance. The emphasis is on giving you the skills and knowledge to confidently deliver UK Sniffer Dogs classes, workshops and trials at Gold level.
Minimum requirements
Trainers should have passed their Silver Detection Dog certification before progressing to Gold level. Please note that as an existing UK Sniffer Dogs Instructor, it is mandatory to either be paying the License Fee or have an active UK Sniffer Dogs membership before you purchase and enrol on this course.
Membership
Upon successful completion of this course, as well as receiving CPD certification and becoming a qualified UK Sniffer Dogs Gold instructor, you will also be eligible to upgrade your membership to GOLD level. Our membership provides our instructors with further training support and business development. Details of the membership will be provided on your course.
