Online Instructor Course

This flexible online course is designed to help you confidently deliver Silver level classes, workshops, and trials within your own dog training business.

Work through a combination of theory and practical videos in your own time, with ongoing support as you progress.

• How to train and apply different indication behaviours

• How to structure and run Silver level trials

• How to deliver Series 3 & 4 workshops

Assessment Process

To ensure you feel confident and ready to teach at Silver level, you will complete a practical and theory-based assessment.

You will be asked to:

• Submit videos of you teaching three different exercises

• Work with three different dogs

  • This can be in a group class setting or through three individual 1:1 sessions

• Demonstrate clear instruction, understanding, and handling of both dog and handler

You will also complete a series of multiple choice questions to support your theoretical understanding.

This process is designed to support your learning and help you feel fully prepared to deliver Silver level training with confidence.

• Qualified Bronze UK Sniffer Dogs Instructors

• Trainers who are force-free and reward-based

• Instructors ready to progress their clients and expand their class offerings

You must have completed your Bronze instructor qualification before progressing to Silver.

Licence or Membership – What You Need to Continue

As a UK Sniffer Dogs Instructor, you should already have an active Licence or Membership in place.

If you do not currently have one, you will need to sign up before continuing with the Silver course.

• The Licence (£10/month) allows you to teach UK Sniffer Dogs content, use our branding, and be listed on our Instructor Directory

• The Membership (£20/month) includes your licence, along with additional support, resources, and business tools

You only need one or the other—membership includes the licence.

• You are not permitted to teach or deliver this content until you have successfully completed your assessment

• You have 6 months to complete the course from the date of purchase
